Thank you to all who entered... all 347 of you! If you weren't a winner, have no fear... another contest is coming down the line very soon.

On another note, I'm planning a question and answer post for the near future. If you've ever had a question... now is your chance to find out the answer. Ask away!

Everything You've Ever Known Will Be Different Now

I just recently came back from a trip to Rwanda and Tanzania. I went with a group from an organization called Partners in Health, a non-profit, non-government group. This incredible organization's vision is quite mission is simple, yet brilliantly powerful: to do whatever it takes to provide the best health and social care possible for people in need around the world. PIH operates on a few fundamental principles which have led to the group's enormous success in stopping the spread of infectious disease, feeding the malnourished, providing clean drinking water, and by building schools and hospitals. These principles (access to free healthcare and education, primary care, community partnerships, serving the poor through the public sector and addressing basic social and economic needs) are the basis needed for people the world over to live healthful and full lives.
To find out more information about Partners in Health, and see what you can do to affect change, please visit their webiste.
